Spring Break Camp Has Sprung
Monday, April 12, 2010

How is Camp different from classes? During a camp week, we learn about a new artist every day. Last week, campers learned about contemporary and master artists alike. We looked at Salvador Dali, Maya Hayuk, Mustafa Duzgunman and Dale Chihuly, glass sculptor. You may recognize that name from his Garfield Conservatory 2001-02 solo exhibit.

And speaking of Camp, if you missed out on spring and are still kicking yourself, no worries, we’re not enrolling for Summer Camp! Join us for 1 day, all 20 days or anything inbetween. Each day will feature a different artist so don’t worry about repeating a project.
Camp runs:
June 21-25
July 19-23
August 16-20
August 23-27

Helen's Scrapbooking Spring Break Workshop was a hit with the kids this past Saturday. They're really adding to their photo albums. Don't miss our next Workshop, Saturday, May 1. This one is a special Mother's Day project.

For those of you who drive to class, Street Cleaning has begun this week. So much for the days of super easy parking...but don't worry, it will only be less than stellar two days a month, whew! I will send home copies of the street cleaning schedule this week. In addition, the days will be posted on the wall calendar as well as additional copies to take for your convenience.

A big Happy Birthday goes out to Addie D., 6!

And a HUGE Happy Birthday goes out to THE PAINTBRUSH! That’s right, we turn 5 on April 18! Melanie and I want to thank you all for getting us this far! As a thank you from us, send us a Happy Birthday email by Friday, April 23 and from all the emails we receive, we will draw a name to win $25 off your next 16-week session. thepaintbrush@thepaintbrush.net

And hey, did you know that we are the easiest place around to Re-Enroll for classes?? No forms to fill out again, no specific days you have to re-enroll on, you don't even have to come in to the studio to re-enroll! So how do you re-enroll? Easy, return your re-enrollment form marked "Yes, I'm re-enrolling", tell me at the end of your class, call Melanie, shoot us an email. Easy? You betcha!
